Single Course Enrollment

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process for special students occurs each semester and the application period varies accordingly with the Academic Calendar.

To enroll for a single course, the students must follow the steps below:

  1. Attend the first class meeting of the chosen course, where the course instructor should accept them by signing the student’s enrollment request form (Single Course Enrollment Request Form). This form must be handed in at the PPGCR Office. In case there are more interested students than offered seats, the course instructor will be responsible for the selection process.
  2. Send an e-mail to ppgcr@contato.ufsc.br with the subject Single Course Enrollment containing pictures of the following documents which must also be presented in their original form at the PPGCR Office in the enrollment day (office hours: 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. | 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.):
  • ID card (RG) and individual taxpayer ID (CPF)
  • Undergraduate diploma (for those who are already graduated) or certificate of degree completion or enrollment (for those who are not graduated yet)
  • Registration confirmation form – there is no need to print it, sending it by e-mail is enough (those who have already taken any PPGCR course do not need to send this form)
  • If the student is taking a PPGCR course for the first time, they must access the website sistemas.ufsc.br/inscricao and follow these instructions: click “Desejo realizar minha inscrição” [I want to register]. Select: “Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências da Reabilitação” [Graduate Program in Rehabilitation Sciences], level “Mestrado” (Master’s degree), then “Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina” and click “avançar” [next]. Then, choose any line of research available, select “dedicação parcial” [part-time dedication] and do not choose a supervisor. On the topic ”Interesse em bolsa” [interest for scholarship], select “não” [no], because scholarships are not offered to single course students. Save the registration confirmation form and send it to ppgcr@contato.ufsc.br with the documents listed above.

After the enrollment is done, the student can access capg.sistemas.ufsc.br, to get certificates, and moodle.ufsc.br, to get the course material.

The courses offered and the seats available for special students vary accordingly to each academic semester. The number of seats for each course is announced by the beginning of the academic semester.
